I’m in love with the maxi silhouette this season. For many years I avoided long skirts and dresses because of my height. But this year I shed my old fashion fears and embraced this bohemian inspired trend. I bought this cranberry maxi skirt in Paris a few months ago.

I love the boho, festival-going trend that’s starting off summer fashion. I’ve been investing in more maxi skirts, cut-offs, and headpieces to spice up my more polished style. Here I’m featuring a floral headpiece I purchased in Nijmegan while I was in the Netherlands.

When I saw these brightly patterned harem pants at a store in Barcelona, I knew I had to have them. To tone down the volume of the pants I paired them with a tight lace bustier. With a few bangles and some flats I felt ready to take on the Spanish streets!

I’ve always been attracted to these Celine shirts, not just for their reference to a fabulous designer, but because it so closely resembles “Celina.” I also love the idea of incorporating graphic tees into a fashion forward wardrobe. I almost never wear t-shirts but in this case I made an exception.

Something about the dark neutrals of this outfit and the stormy day on which we photographed it made the whole look feel very ominous. The setting made me feel like a Game of Thrones character anticipating the coming battle.

At the end of my time in the Netherlands the weather in Well began to warm up. On a particularly balmy day I couldn’t help but wear these adorable ice cream shorts. In the past I’ve had trouble mixing prints but I found harmony between the pastel shorts and strong polka dots.
