Happy Mother’s day to all the fantastic moms out there, but in particular to my amazing, fashionable, wonderful mother, the original Celina!

My mom made this romper out of a thrifted jumpsuit for my birthday. I love the easy, retro quality of it, and of course it’s sporting my signature black and white polka dots!

The best part about this outfit? My mom also made a matching bow for Coco so we can be fabulous together!

Although I love yellow on other people, I’ve always had trouble wearing it, but when OASAP sent me this gorgeous bright yellow, bodycon skirt I decided to give it a shot. The results were surprisingly good, the yellow is a great pop of color but it’s not overwhelming and doesn’t wash me out. A big thank you to OASAP for sending it along! As the clouds behind me indicate, it had been thunder-storming all day when I took these photos. My yellow skirt was just the pop of sunshine that I needed on such a dreary day.

The Long, Hot Summer

Summer is finally here, and as much as I love wearing pretty dresses and trendy pieces, it’s nice to be able to relax my look a little. I wore this outfit on a sunbathing trip to the lake. I like the simplicity of pairing a denim shirt with shorts and a sunhat for a day spent lounging on the dock.

In this last photo I’m wearing my favorite bandeau bikini. It’s no secret I love a polka dot and I couldn’t stay away from the bright pink.
