Today I met up with Jenn, an old friend from high school. We went to Sweet for cupcakes and then strolled down Newbury and through the public gardens. It was so nice to catch up!
Jenn came straight from class and I totally approve of her comfy but cute look for a long lecture.
I love Sweet! From the delicious cupcakes to the old movies always playing, it’s definitely one of my favorite Boston discoveries.

I’ve been sick all weekend so getting up, dressed and out the door today was not something I was excited about. Fortunately I had this outfit on standby.
I like the combination of the polka dot skirt and the zipper detailing on the shirt. I also think the combination of colors works well even though everything doesn’t match perfectly.

My roommate had to photograph an object for one of her classes and, girl after my own heart, she chose shoes! Some of the shots came out really cool so I thought I’d post them.
Normally I’m on the fence about cowboy style boot but these are absolutely fabulous.
Every girl knows the best way to clean a house is in heels.
These make me want it to rain.
My Sirianos <3 my favorite shoes for sure.
Shoes are a huge inspiration for me. I often start an outfit with the shoes and work from there. What part of an outfit inspires you the most?

My roomies and I had such a fabulous outing today! We went shopping on Newbury street and then went to the Prudential shopping center to ogle the latest designer fashions. The day ended with Starbucks and a stop at a local farmers market where we got fresh bread, olive oil and goat cheese. Hello, perfect day!
At H&M I bought a fabulous wool A-line skirt and a gorgeous patterned dress with a swing style skirt. Can’t wait to style them!
