Homeward Bound

I went home for a few days this week to see my parents before they head off to Aruba for vacation (jealous!). In typical New Hampshire fashion it snowed a good inch the night I came home. Fortunately I dressed for the occasion!

I’ve been dying to wear this wool sweater and it was absolutely worth the wait! It transitioned beautifully from the bustle of Boston to the spontaneous snowfall in New Hampshire. 

My hair was in perfect curls when I left Boston but the rain/snow left it like this =( Don’t you hate it when that happens?

Feeling Like Fall

Today was such a gorgeous day! Sunny skies and a nice temperature around 65 degrees. The leaves are starting to change and it really feels like fall. 

This cashmere sweater and knee length skirt were perfect for today. I really wanted to get the most out of the last few days before I need to start wearing tights.

Whimsical patterns have been cropping up everywhere lately and I’m dying to get some in my wardrobe!

This dress from Modcloth is gorgeous! But of course, I like everything from Modcloth. What I like about this is that the pattern is fun but not overpowering.

I’m oddly drawn to this dress from Forever21. Even though it’s an unconventional pattern I think it works. I like the lace detailing in the front as well.

I like this floral from ASOS because it’s a little bit vintage. It’s not like a lot of the bright big florals that have been around lately.

Polka dots are potentially my favorite pattern and I love the way they’re used in this dress! Pink and grey are such a great color combination too. I just love this dress! Another Modcloth, naturally.
