Knee high gladiator sandals are going to be a huge trend this summer. Now that a few celebrities have been seen wearing them, they’re flooding into the mass market. I purchased these a couple weeks ago and they are officially my favorite summer sandal.

I styled these beauties with a white lace dress and floral headband to complete the goddess/nymph/warrior princess vibe.

Summer is finally here, and as much as I love wearing pretty dresses and trendy pieces, it’s nice to be able to relax my look a little. I wore this outfit on a sunbathing trip to the lake. I like the simplicity of pairing a denim shirt with shorts and a sunhat for a day spent lounging on the dock.

In this last photo I’m wearing my favorite bandeau bikini. It’s no secret I love a polka dot and I couldn’t stay away from the bright pink.

Just a few days in and I’m already working on my style resolutions! I’ve always loved the way maxi skirts look but I worried about wearing them because of my height. I bought this sheer, polka-dot skirt off a sale rack on a whim and when I paired it with heels I loved the way it turned out.

Red on the Rocks

When I bought this dress I loved it for it’s architectural details, the lace texture, the bustier seaming, and the structured silhouette. So I decided to photograph it in a place with equally interesting features, the rocky shoreline of Rye beach.

I generally don’t wear red but this dress had a slightly richer tone to it that I was drawn to.

I love the way the blue of the ocean, the grey of the rocks and the red of the dress all look together.
