Although I love yellow on other people, I’ve always had trouble wearing it, but when OASAP sent me this gorgeous bright yellow, bodycon skirt I decided to give it a shot. The results were surprisingly good, the yellow is a great pop of color but it’s not overwhelming and doesn’t wash me out. A big thank you to OASAP for sending it along! As the clouds behind me indicate, it had been thunder-storming all day when I took these photos. My yellow skirt was just the pop of sunshine that I needed on such a dreary day.

The Long, Hot Summer

Summer is finally here, and as much as I love wearing pretty dresses and trendy pieces, it’s nice to be able to relax my look a little. I wore this outfit on a sunbathing trip to the lake. I like the simplicity of pairing a denim shirt with shorts and a sunhat for a day spent lounging on the dock.

In this last photo I’m wearing my favorite bandeau bikini. It’s no secret I love a polka dot and I couldn’t stay away from the bright pink.

When my suitemates and I were having our Secret Santa we all dressed up as the person that we had. My roommate Gina had me and put this outfit on. Even though she meant for it to be funny, I really liked it!

I took these photos on Main street in my home town. I’ve always loved the quaint look of the brick buildings, famous Mary Ann’s diner and cute little shops.
