As a full time blogger, my closet is my office. So it’s important to me that it’s both a functional and aesthetically pleasing space. Right now I’m fortunate enough to have a whole room to house my wardrobe, and I’ve tried to decorate it in a way that will inspire me to create great outfits.
Coco and I use the space for daily dress-up. She’s not always excited about wearing her tutu.
But, come on, how cute is that?
This is the vintage hat I restored in this post, displayed on a foam head I conveniently found at the Salvation Army a few days afterwards.
Most of my wrinkle-prone blouses and jackets are housed on a large garment rack.
Although the majority of my shoes are in shoe racks inside my closets, I like to showcase some of the bigger heels on this rack.
Behind me is a vintage dress form I found at a local consignment shop. Because it’s vintage the sizing is much smaller and the measurements are closer to mine than newer versions.
This old wine bottle doubles as decoration and a bracelet holder. I always have the latest fashion news and an emergency chocolate stash at the ready.
Photos are mine.
