Today my blog is one year old! It’s amazing to look back and think about how much this blog has grown. When I started I was a high schooler wearing nothing without bows on it, and using the timer on my digital camera to document my outfits. Since then I’ve found an amazing photographer (with a much better camera!), and my sense of style has changed dramatically. I’ve started trying new trends, and my wardrobe resembles that of a five year old somewhat less than when I started.
A year ago today I decided to start a fashion blog just to test the waters, see what it would be like. I figured that like most things, I’d lose interest within a month or two, become too busy and the blog would fall by the wayside. Instead it’s turned into something I really love. Without this blog I would never have had the motivation to experiment with style the way I have. The feedback that I’ve gotten from it has really kept me going. So thank you to everyone who has supported Trends and Tolstoy. If we’ve come this far, just imagine where we’ll be in another year!
