Today Trends and Tolstoy is 2 years old! It is absolutely incredible to me how much the blog has grown in just two short years. When I started this project I was a senior in high school with hopes of living in a big city some day. I was taking photos in my basement with the timer on my digital camera. Now I’m studying abroad in some of the biggest cities in Europe, and Trends and Tolstoy has gone from my afternoon hobby to my salary paying job.
The picture on the left was the very first outfit post I put on the blog exactly two years ago. On the right is one of the first photos I took when I got to Kasteel Well. My style has grown immensely in just two years. I’ve gone from bows, cardigans, and flip-flops to leather, studs, and heels. Trends and Tolstoy has gone from having a fan base of one (my mom) to a fan base of over 16,000 in 75 different countries. Thank you so much to everyone who has helped make Trends and Tolstoy a success. I look forward to another fabulous year!
