Unfortunately the one consistency in life is that it keeps moving, and my time at Kasteel Well has ended. My three months in that magical place were some of the best I’ve ever had, and I will always remember the friends I met and the memories I made. These are some snapshots from my final days in the Netherlands.
Here I am with Robbert, a member of the Office of Student Affairs and my partner in crime.
We had a formal farewell dinner which was a great opportunity for me to wear my ASOS princess dress again! Previously seen here.
My last Dutch dinner, I’ll miss those potatoes and meatballs!
Here I am with Dulcia, the head of the Kasteel Well program. She also taught my Art History class, and she’s the sweetest, most dedicated woman I’ve ever met.
During our Farewell celebration we did performances for the group. I put together a little fashion show for the occasion.
Claudia and Carlyle were two of my models, I styled their outfits for our Farewell dinner. How adorable are they together?
Cerise modeled my Amsterdam look, she’s one of the fiercest models I’ve ever worked with.
And finally, a photo of my closest castle friends. From left to right: me, Ali, Ripley, Jamie, and Jenni. Over the course of three months these girls became my family and I have them to thank for making my travel experience truly incredible.
Until the next time, te zien je later Nederland!
Photos by Jamie Kaplan, Jenni Heller, and Gerlo Beernink.
