As technology develops, there has been a rise of creative, technology oriented jobs in the fashion and design industries that are geared towards a young worker. The people flocking to these positions are young professionals like myself with a creative background and a strong understanding of technology. For jobs like this the dress code is very relaxed and leaves a lot of room for personal expression. With this new sartorial freedom, young professionals are taking a much more fashion-forward approach to business wear.
This dress (courtesy of Le Club Boutique) is the perfect blend of fashionable and professional. It’s shorter and more body-concious than the traditional business casual code calls for, but it maintains the sheath style common in professional settings.
With my accessories I mixed tradition with a little edge. I wore a pearl necklace and earrings but vamped it up with a leather jacket and spiked heels. These are elements that wouldn’t fly in your typical corporate office but are much more acceptable in a creative, fashion-forward environment.
A big thank you to Alissa at Le Club Boutique for this beautiful dress!
