Rough Neighborhood

My new apartment is in the South End of Boston which is a really nice, safe neighborhood. But if you take the T a few stops down you find yourself in Roxbury – a notoriously rough-around-the-edges area of the city. Sometimes on my way home I take the bus or T past Roxbury and this outfit was inspired by that tough reputation.

What better to embody a rough-and-tumble image than a leather dress and metal arm cuff?
