Notes from the Underground

December 19, 2013,
by Celina[zilla_likes]

Right around the corner from Emerson is Brattle Book Shop, also known as paradise. The shop has an impressive collection of out-of-print and first edition novels as well as an outdoor sale lot. What’s really interesting about Brattle is they don’t sell just one type of book. You can go in and buy a $1 romance novel or a $10,000 first edition.

notesfromtheundergroundA sweater dress and lace tights has always been my go-to fashionable intellectual outfit. Something about the coziness of it just begs me to curl up with my favorite Dostoevsky.

Bonus points for those of you who caught my reference in the title.
