Recently I took a trip to see my friend Rebecca Isenhart at her home near Albany, NY. The beautiful natural surroundings, adorable shops, and slower pace were a refreshing change from the daily grind here in Boston. On a day trip we went up to Saratoga Springs and, of course, I had to plan an outfit that would match the level of class oozing from every corner of the adorable town.
This dress is vintage Armani, and I found it at Goodwill. Can you believe it? With a few quick alterations it was good as new, and fit perfectly into the swanky Saratoga background.
It feels like this dress was made for me. I can’t resist anything in leather and that burgundy color is one of my favorites. The silhouette is very classic and feminine but with the buckle detailing on the straps and the bust seams it has a little bit of an edge.
Dress: Thrifted Armani, Shoes: Franco Sarto via TJ Maxx, Necklace: Forever21, Rings: Assorted
