Two weekends ago I was invited to go on a brunch cruise around the Boston harbor with Odyssey Cruises. Now I simply can’t imagine spending a Sunday any other way. We spent three glorious hours cruising around the harbor in the perfect 75-and-sunny weather. Breakfast, lunch, and dessert were served as well as a few of the Odyssey’s signature cocktails.
I don’t know how they do it, but somehow the chefs on the ship managed to make buffet food for a crowd full of people delicious. There was a large variety of options, something for every palate.
The Odyssey was trying out a new Bloody Mary cart for the event and it was a total success. You can add whatever you want to your drink to get it to your exact specifications. I always worry about this drink tasting too much like tomato, but this was the perfect balance. They also used a spiced vodka for some extra kick.
After a long stressful week this cruise was the perfect way to wind down (and not just because of all the champagne!).
A big thank you to Odyssey Cruises and Blog and Tweet Boston for making this event possible.
