Firas Yousif is one of my absolute favorite Boston designers. With a focus on evening and bridal wear he’s an incredibly talented artist. Just from looking at his garments you can see the craftsmanship that goes into them, from the intricate beading to the cut and shape of his gowns.
Firas works quite a bit with satin and it never ceases to amaze me how he can make such a difficult material looks so effortless. It’s work that like this that reminds me that fashion isn’t just about clothes, it’s an art form of its own.
This tulle number above was my favorite look in his collection. I’ve never been the type of girl to think about weddings but I would wear this to mine in a heartbeat.
Here I am with Firas himself. On top of his talent he’s a very sweet, genuine person.
