The past few years I’ve been pretty basic with my Halloween costumes (Audrey Hepburn, Catwoman, flapper) but this year I decided to mix it up a little. My friends Jenni, Ripley and I decided on a Clueless themed costume. For those of you who have been living under a rock for the past twenty years, Clueless is a 1995 movie about a silly and spoiled, but very fashionable girl (see here, and here).
Since Cher is basically my spirit animal (that closet system was totally my idea first) it was a natural choice.
“Where’s my white collarless shirt from Fred Segal? It’s my most capable looking outfit.”
“He does dress better than I do, what would I bring to the relationship?”
Cher: “Would you call me selfish?”
Dee: “Not to your face.”
Can you say friendship?
Dee: “Dude, what’s wrong? You suffering from buyer’s remorse or something?”
Cher: “God no, nothing like that.”
“Cher, I don’t want to do this anymore. And my buns don’t feel nothin’ like steel.”
Makeover time. The flannel must go.
Happy Halloween! I hope you all have a spooky, fun day full of fabulous costumes and guilt free chocolate.
