Feeling 22

In the immortal worlds of Taylor Swift: “I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling 22.” That’s right, folks, today is my 22nd year. It seems crazy that I’ve been styling outfits and furiously underlining quotes in Anna Karenina for that long. I’ll be celebrating with some great friends, a few bottles of wine, and lots and lots of cupcakes.

22 is an age most people celebrate in college and here I am celebrating one year out in the working world. It’s this conflicting stage when you’re still young and a little crazy but you’re placed in this adult world. Some days I’m killing it at the office and some days I’m eating mac and cheese in bed watching Parks and Rec on loop. Regardless, I’m enjoying every minute of it. Here’s to many more birthday cupcakes!
