Bathing Beauty

I’m no Botticelli Venus emerging from the half shell but I do know swimwear and the final installment of the Swimsuit Series is a retro look. I love the high waisted style and you can’t go wrong with red and white polka dots. This is a nice compromise between a bikini and a one piece, it still has sex appeal but covers a comfortable amount of skin. Naturally, I accessorized with some on-theme Junot Diaz.

For this look I went classic, using a white button down as a cover up. A straw cloche enhances the vintage feel while keeping the sun out. To take the look to the street I added some denim shorts and a pair of nude leather sneakers.
