Tolstoy said, “We are asleep until we fall in love.” I always took that to mean until we fall in love, not just with a person, but with a project, an art piece, a mission. We are asleep until we find our passion, and Trends and Tolstoy has always been mine.
Seven years ago today I bribed my brother to take photos of me with an old point-and-shoot on our porch in Derry, New Hampshire. Today I run a multilevel storytelling business and get paid to travel the world.
Trends and Tolstoy has come a long way.
This website couldn’t exist without the support of my family, friends, readers, and sponsors. Thank you to each and every one of you who supports my adventures, both real and literary.
There’s a lot in store for T&T’s seventh year, a pilgrimage to Russia, a flood of new photography campaigns, and the stirrings of my first novel. I look forward to continuing this journey with you.
