One of the many perks of being an art reporter is that my job photographs beautifully! I shot this “reporter style” look at a new mural by Silvia Lopez Chavez. You can read my article about it in The Bay State Banner. I kept my own aesthetic simple, black and white with textural details, to keep the focus on the art.
The piece I’m carrying is a portrait that Budapest-based artist Viktória Takács painted from one of my Instagram photos. I love how she has the flowers sprouting from the hat, it brings such a magic to the work.
