Though I’ve never been comfortable on the dance floor (middle school dances scarred me), I’ve always loved the idea of formal dances with established steps. That seems more manageable to me than the often unfortunate freestyle results of contemporary clubs. In Latin American and Spanish dances they take these established steps forms and make them look irresistible. This skirt reminded me of the dynamic flamenco costumes that move with the dance. I may not be up on my tango steps (yet) but at least I’ve got the outfit down!
I’m also sporting the best accessory of this season, my “I Voted” sticker from the midterm elections. I shot this look on election day which is why I’m all smiles.
