I call this look “French Gangster Auditions for the Ballet.” It’s just eclectic enough to work. The mix of textures and patterns work because I’ve laced everything together with a common color. I’ve been all about the monochrome life lately. It’s a great way to make an unexpectedly chic outfit. Or to flash your street cred while you pirouette for the dance master.
My aunt bought this skirt for me last year during our trip to Portsmouth so you may not be able to find the same one. But ChicWish, one of my preferred tutu vendors, has some similar ones. Try this one, or this dreamy black version.
