Georgia O’Keeffe and Alfred Stieglitz may have had a horrible marriage, but they were a killer artistic team. I’m lucky to have such a creative relationship with Rebecca Gatto my incredibly talented dear friend. Plus, we love each other so we’ve got one up on Alfie and Georgia. In honor of our years of friendship and photoshoots, we did a joint shoot inspired by the famous artistic duo.
When you’re working in an artistic field, having a supportive creative partner is crucial. Just like any other relationship, having someone to prop you up and inspire you when things are tough is invaluable. Rebecca leaves me in awe every time we shoot together. She has worked so hard to hone her craft and it shows in the effortless way she captures our vision. She has a rare and magical gift behind the camera and I feel lucky every time I get to experience it.
