Somehow I looked up and nine years have gone by since I wrote my first blog post for Trends and Tolstoy. It’s crazy to think that almost a full decade of my life is immortalized on this website.
If my 17-year-old self knew when she started this website that nine years later she would have traveled all over the world, that she’d be living her childhood dream of being a professional writer, and that she’d still be wearing tutus with wild abandon, I think she’d pretty much lose it.
I’m so proud of how far this site (and I) have come since it began. And I can’t thank you enough for your endless support reading and engaging with my work.
And who knows, maybe in another nine years we’ll still be here, talking about books, styling cute outfits, and exploring the world. At that point maybe we’ll even be traveling through space! No matter where Trends and Tolstoy is headed, I can’t wait.
