Art at Home

June 30, 2020,
by Celina[zilla_likes]

With museums temporarily shuttered and most people sticking to their neighborhoods, traditional art has been hard to come by during COVID-19. I’ve taken that time to retreat into my personal collection and it’s made me very grateful that I’ve assembled pieces over the years.

Having a personal art collection is wonderful for a lot of reasons. The pieces can serve as mementos of travel or important moments in your life, to brings joy and artistry to your home, and it’s an expression of your own artistic sensibilities. But sometimes I find that I’m so busy living life around my artworks that I don’t take as much time to properly appreciate them as I should.

This time away from the traditional art world has allowed me to rediscover and spend time with the works I have at home. And it’s reinforced for me the importance of finding and bonding with artworks you love and bringing them into your space.

Do you have a burgeoning art collection in your home?
