Today is my 27th birthday! I’m a big celebrator of birthdays, mine and everyone else’s. I just think there’s something so nice about celebrating the fact someone exists. It feels like a very pure expression of love.
Due to COVID-19, I’ve scaled back on my usual elaborate birthday plans. I’ll be celebrating with a 3-hour lunch on the patio of my favorite French restaurant. I’m going to eat all my favorites (escargot, foie gras, all with side of champagne), read the whole newspaper (an immense luxury), and show off one of my newest designs.
Then who knows, I might get wild and stop by the library.
