I made this coat from a vintage ’50s swing coat pattern, but I gave it a modern upgrade in this cozy and lightweight fleece. I’m so happy with the way it turned out! This is my first time working with fleece so I still have a lot to learn, but I think it was a great fabric choice for this pattern. It maintains the shape and flow of the swing style but in a less bulky way than the traditional wool.
