I made this dress in celebration of Trends and Tolstoy’s 10 year anniversary! It’s a 50s dress pattern that I’ve used a few times before (here, here, and here) and the fabric is from Sewfisticated in Somerville. It’s amazing how one pattern can look so radically different depending on the fabric used. I love the old school glamour of this look, it’s just begging to be worn in a dark cocktail bar accessorized with a sidecar.
