Trends & Toy Story

December 13, 2013,
by Celina[zilla_likes]

It’s inevitable that when I attend a fashion event, someone is going to struggle with the name of my blog. When I chose this name I thought I was simply marrying two of my favorite things, I had no idea all the trouble I would cause. At least once a week someone mistakes my blog…Read More

Sex in the City

December 11, 2013,
by Celina[zilla_likes]

This outfit felt so Sex in the City to me, no doubt because of the tutu styled for every day life. But I’ve definitely modernized the SJP trend. I styled this black beauty with a green sweater and a wide belt to at once make it more casual and give it some edge. Sweater: H&M,…Read More

Updated Classic

December 9, 2013,
by Celina[zilla_likes]

Today I’m updating my usual plaid shirt by layering it underneath a leather dress. It gives the plaid some edge without looking too grunge. November 29, 2013,
by Celina[zilla_likes]

When I saw this Frida Kahlo shirt it was love at first sight. I have a soft spot for graphic tees and this one was just so pretty and such a great reference to an incredible art historical time period. It’s also a little funny because I think Frida would be pissed if she were…Read More

Neon Lights

November 25, 2013,
by Celina[zilla_likes]

When I saw this skirt I was immediately attracted to it. The neon green on the muted field reminded me of neon lights glaring through the nighttime landscape. In combination with the midi length it made for a really interesting piece. Skirt: ASOS (similar here), Shirt: TJ Maxx (similar here), Jacket: H&M (similar here), Shoes:…Read More
