I always say the one thing I kept from my New Hampshire roots was a love of plaid flannel. And it’s true, I just can’t get enough cozy flannel shirts. The combination print and texture bring a lot of visual interest to an outfit, especially when paired with leather pants and a statement necklace.
A brief lesson to satisfy the copyeditor inside me, plaid and flannel are not the same thing. Flannel is the material, plaid is the print. It seems obvious but a lot of people confuse the two.
