Thigh high boots make a comeback every fall and I could not be more on board. They’re a sexy staple in a cool weather wardrobe, and with a low, chunky heel like these, also check off the practicality box. I paired mine, from Shoedazzle, with this knee-length sweater dress. From straight on no skin is showing, but the side slit shows off the full extent of the boot without getting too racy.
This outfit is great for going out in colder months. It has all the visual interest and nighttime drama of a skimpier outfit, but with the coverage to keep you warm. I’m a firm believer that skin doesn’t necessarily translate to sex appeal, and I’m well beyond the phase of braving 30-degree weather in bare legs to go to a party.
