Boston heralds the end of summer with a series of cool, rainy, windy days. Not the best sartorial weather, but this girl stops for no storm! I picked up this black anorak jacket at Primark (for only $11) and it’s been a great layering piece for this transitional season. When I’m hopping from meeting to meeting, this jacket keeps me dry but still professional.

Here I paired the jacket with a pair of leather pants, a bright red top, and my favorite Coach booties. The effect is a little edgy, a little bright, and a lot sophisticated. Often times I’ll run from meetings and interviews to events and parties so my looks need to cover all my bases.
