Where the Money Goes

This mink and Persian lamb’s wool coat was passed down to me from a close family friend. Whenever I wear it it makes me think of luxury and opulence. I imagine that the woman who used to wear this, Barbara, commonly referred to by her friends as Barbie, was a very glamorous and put together lady. For this look I really tried to emulate that sense of wealth and glamour in a modern context.

Thank you so much Donna and Tim MacDonald for trusting me with Barbie’s coat and with her fashion legacy. I’ll try to make her proud!
