Girl’s Got Grit

My style can be very trendy and experimental at times. I’m often wearing things that the average person wouldn’t, and I attract a lot of attention for it. People always say that you need to be tough to deal with the fashion world, but what they don’t tell you is that you need to be tough as a fashionable girl in the real world too. I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve walked down the street wearing something and had people turn and stare and whisper. It sounds like a dramatization but it happens, especially in the small town where I’m from. But I love my style and I feel good in what I wear, so I keep wearing it. You’ve just got to have a little grit and stand by your personal taste.
