As a woman in the city I get asked a lot what I do to be safe. I have a black belt in Shaolin Kempo so on a logistical level I can absolutely protect myself. But what I find equally as effective is a sense of confidence. No one messes with a girl who knows exactly where she’s going and what she’s doing. Dressing the part doesn’t hurt either. No one is going to approach the badass girl wearing the studded bra.
